A few past finds detected by a Safari.

Goldstrike

Well-known member
I wanted to post just a few past finds (max pics allowed are only 6 pics) as things seem dare I say a little slow and stale? on this particular Forum. I must admit, I myself will post finds on the Beach and Scuba Forum or the Today's Finds Forum but skip posting here.
The motivation behind doing this is to inject a little enthusiasm into all of us (particularly Safari owners) and especially me!!!:wiggle:! I need pumping up just like any one of us needs it so here goes............
Almost all of my time and energy this past month (actually over 5 weeks now) has been taken up by fixing some trashed rental property I own. The previous tenants snuck in 3 dogs (I have a no pet policy because of previous damage by pets). They completely trashed the home so it needed new paint, new carpet, literally new everything:rant:.
I have done most of the work to keep the costs down and although the place was totally wrecked and needed a huge amount of work, I'm happy to say the new renter moves in next week!!!
Just as soon as I hand over the keys to them, I'm heading off to the beach for some well deserved R&R and some serious detecting!! I hope to post some great finds starting next week! G.L. & H.H.:detecting:
P.s I detected the solid silver hand/arm charm while I was in England. I still am not sure what it represents (thumb between fingers) and all I can determine is it has a Birmingham silver mark. I wrote down the marks on the paper in the background to I.D. I have posted it on the Whatiz Forum before. Any guesses?

Wow can I hunt with you.Fantastic stuff .You must have some great spots.Yea we Safari owners need some motivation every now and then.Looks like your off to a great start.Still trying to get my first gold 1,000,000 pull tabs and counting.I love all the cool treasures that are being found in England.Like to go there some day myself sometime.Keep up those great finds. HH

Thanks M.M. & Dave400!
I don't want to impress or brag but I know there are, along with the newer owners that sometimes struggle with the tones and such, some highly sucessful Safari owners out there and I just wanted to stimulate them to post their finds and encouraging words to those that maybe need some advice.
Any Safari owner can detect some great finds. I myself had to go through that frustrating period where those frustrating, flutty, dumb weird 'noises' were hurting my ears and I almost got rid of my Safari but it seemed the day came where something clicked and I began to understand what it was trying to tell me..........or was it the day I found my first gold ring?:clapping: I have an ATPro and it's a great detector but my Safari is my favorite!

Nice finds Goldstrike!, I will be trying to post a few pictures in the near future. With Turkey hunting season and then a trip to visit my daughter it has been a little tough. I have had my Safari since February and started using it in March. I like most people were having issues with all the tones, finally just recently things are starting to click for me. I search in Ferrous and now I am not digging hardly any of the rusted nails anymore that drove me crazy in conductive as they sounded like good signals. Silver is coming up way more and also starting to pick up more jewelery period. The listen to sounds instead of looking at the screen was the thing that helped me the most. Anyways congrads on the finds. What did the platinum numbers come in at?

Klever, thanks and the Plat ring came in at 21 with a low tone. I remember seeing it in the scoop and figuring it was silver but couldn't understand why it came in low and with a low tone and not 39 and high? I thought white gold?.............seeing the 'PLAT' stamp clinched it!!
