A few pics

Here are a few pics from my recent finds. Things are starting to click pretty good now. I am digging way less trash now and the good targets are starting to appear a lot more. I am digging in Ferrous mode and rarely dig those rusty nails for the most part. Starting to see a lot more jewelry now. A lot of the finds are at around 6 or 7 inches just out of reach of my other detector.
Really starting to enjoy the Safari. All I can say to the newbies is hang in there. It will eventually start making sense. I am getting a lot better at knowing what I am digging. And I know you have heard this before but don't look at the screen and just listen to it......

congrats, nice finds. I've had my Safari for 2 yrs & I'm still learning it. I've learned to dig those iffy deep signals where the numbers bounce around. I also learned if it reads iron -10 but does not sound like iron to dig those, I found several Indian Head pennies that did that because there was iron next to them. Good Luck it gets even better. I love my Safari.

Great finds Klever!! Nice rings and isn't it interesting to see how small of a target, the Safari will detect?!!!! Some of the tiniest pieces of metal will not go unnoticed and it'll make a big sound to let you know something is under the coil!!! I noticed you detected a CTR (Choose The Right) ring! I got one of those off a beach awhile back!

Thanks for the info on the -10 metal I will have to pay attention to that. The one for me that is hardest to dig is 9. I would say 90 percent if not more it is foil. But the other 10 is usually good. That Spanish medallion rang in at a solid 9 so I dug. Don't know what it says, probably religious.
Goldstrike, yeah sometime those tiny targets sing out and its like where are you, haha, I have a few of those ctr rings. Two just in the last week

yeah you get some wacky stuff reading 9/10. Usually its just foil. I found a real old Chinese coin that read a +10. I even read it after it was out of the hole & still read +10

I knew youd start killin it. You also make a good point in "A lot of the finds are at around 6 or 7 inches just out of reach of my other detector." I hadn't thought about it, but most of my targets are in the deeper range of my machine.
