Very nice hunt and CONGRATS on the IH

What an awesome hunt Bernie, in your post you thanked us for looking....Well, thank you for posting it and the pic's! Good for you!:garrett:

Very nice Bernie!! WTG:surprised:

I found an Early 1900s UK penny in the goround over here once. I like to imagine how some of my finds came to be where I ulimately find them. I imagine two World Wars had a lot to do with a lot of them. Nice finds! Super spoon. (Pun intended.)

Chris

great finds mate i love finding real old foreign coins & trying to imagine how they got there. also love the spoon the lion hall mark means its UK sterling silver ( 925 % silver ) pity the rest of the marks are"nt there otherwise i"d be able to tell ya when it was made where it was made & who made it ( i"d say mid to late 1800s ).

Wow! Nice goin'. I bet you'll find more. It won't be your last. There's been quite a few of us Yanks over there to drop pennies from time to time. My wife found a 1937 sixpence on a Gulfcoast beach in Texas the other day and I found a 1938 two shillings coin in an older city park one time. Just goes to show ya, it really is a small world. Nice pix. Thanks for the post.

thanks al for the comments, the ihd was found half way down a hill, probly a gi rolling down before he went back on duty, thats what i like to think any way, the spoon i like to think was from a picnic that the people who owned the big mansion on which are now the grounds of the park left behind.............

Great finds I found an 1888 large canadian penny in Evansville,In. You never know what you will find or where in the world it might be from. H.H Gary

Sweet find Bernie.:clapping: I'd love to find one of those. I've found 3 or 4 modern US coins today here in Oz, but not a old one.
Congrats.
Mick Evans.
