In the scheme of things this I know this is not a big deal but a neat find, for me any way. I usually dont get to do much relic hunting this time of year because I own a waterfowl guide service and am usually busy. But we are between guests and the weather is warm so I came home. I hunted yesterday morning and decided I would relic hunt yesterday afternoon. First signal was a .22 ball. Second signal was the butt plate. 3rd signal was the Enfield bullet, a little later on I found the fired pistol ball. I aint got a clue what the butt plate came off of but it's my first one and I am tickled. Gonna go back this afternoon if the rain holds off. How can I figure out what type of rifle this came off of???d2
