Happy New Year all!
Absolutely amazing that less than a week after we got a foot of snow, the snow's gone and I was able to get out for a few hours.
Quite a way to start the new year- with a first ever. Found my very first Flying Eagle cent! Cleaned it up enough to ID it and it's definitely a Flying Eagle, and the date seems to be 1857, but I've got it soaking to see if it will clean up better.
Also found a nice 1845 Large cent (also soaking), a couple of Indians (1885 & 1906) along with the silver posted in the pic. I'll post pics of the F.E. and L.C. after I get them cleaned up.
