A Full Day Of Coin Hunting With the T2

RLOH

Well-known member
I never would have thought that I would get a nice day to detect in NE Ohio, but today was a great day. I took the T2 for a hard workout and I came away more impressed than ever. This is one serious detector! It is super easy to setup:20 seconds or less. It is the BEST balanced detector other than Tesoros. It uses hardly any batteries. It goes DEEP! It does a great job of separation considering the big coil. Today I hunted for 6 solid hours and here is the breakdown. 5 wheats, 3 mercs, 2 buffalo nickles, 2 I think gold rings, and 3 small charms. I also got 40 other coins. The meter is as accurate as any detector that I have used and I have used them all. It is easy to pinpoint(if anyone is having a problem, email me and I can make it simple) All of the older coins came from 7 to 9 inches and I have no doubt that it will go deeper. It is probably the most accurate meter on deep coins that I have used. The numbers stayed very consistant. The audio in 2+ did have alittle sputter on the 9 inchers. I have found the 2+ tone setup to work the best for me. There is no doubt on a coin, the signal is crisp and along with the accurate meter, it is almost always foolproof. I dig less junk with this detector than any I have ever used, including the Explorers. If there is one achilles heel, it is interference. I compensate by lowering the sens five clicks and all has been solved. All in all, I have found that I can run the T2 with slight interference almost anywhere, but I am running it with some clicks and pops. The engineers of this detector did a fabulous job. I just sold my trusty CZ and my C$ might be next. By the time spring rolls around, there ought to be a small coil and that would complete this near perfect detector. HH R.L.
