A gold question

Since all of Tesoros detectors run at 10 khz and above, has anyone ever
used one of these lower priced machines to nugget shoot? The Ace 250 and 350 are at
6.5 and 8.2 respectively and they have found some small nuggets, although they don't
have manual ground balance.. Anyone speak to this? Would like to hear
from you.

You need to have a detector that runs just under 20 khz. The lower the freq, the less sensitive it is to smaller metals. Freq. above 20 khz start to pick up unwanted targets. if your under 10 khz, you will not find the average size targets at the depths you could be with something in the 17 to 18khz range.
