Well actually I have yet to go to a detecting club meeting that wasn't good! :)
I entered items I had found in the 4 catecories for the find of the month contests and I won 2 of the 4! And I voted for the other 2 people that won in the other two categories!

I entered a pic of the heavy 14K necklace and pendant that I located for a lady at Lake michigan who was very happy to have it back. I also entered the rare Civil War token I found.

Here is my daughter and I after both looking for the necklace. The girl on the left is the happy one who got her necklace back, and the guy on the right is the one who lost it! :surrender:

Here is the 1863 token I entered. Less than 10 known!

Here are the prizes I won for find of the month. Both are the same, this is back and front 1/2 oz. silver rounds.

Lastly I was 2nd drawn for door prizes last night so I picked this 1836 Large Cent.

I talked with the girl who owns it and when given it, it is supposed to keep her safe because it reflects evil. ( Sopposed to protect her) I guess it is kinda like when someone wears a different kind of religeous pendant as protection? You and I know that the pendants don't protect you, for there is only one who can do that! :)
 
me telling you I got something for you at the beginning of the meeting? That is what I meant. I got that thinking of you. Now when I look at it, I will think of you! :)
