We all need a day off of work ever so often.Great job you found more silver in one day that some hunters find in a season.Very nice hunt!

Fantastic day for you. My first Barber half was a 1908 also. I thought for sure it was going to be a can but it pegged in on my old 5900 Di pro and sounded good so I just had to see what it was. I still remember shaking after pulling it out of 4 inches and thinking I was going to find tons of good stuff...you did ...I did not. Thanks for the post show its nice to see the old timers didnt find everything in those parks..( yeah thats right I once used a 5900 Di Pro dont laugh)

lol David..I think I might have had an early crack at the site, so I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. But it was trashy, so it may have frustrated some others. What a haul of silver. I'm always impressed when people uncover standing liberty quarters as they seem few and far between. Congrats on the Barber half - hope you it's the first of many for you!
