I'm snowbirding it in Florida and brought my Ace 350 with me. I've been to several beaches but really haven't had much luck in the sand.
Yesterday I went to a city sports complex and tried detecting a soccer field for the first time. In a little over an hour I found $4.32.
That's a lot for a guy that usually is lucky to find pennies. It was the first time that I had used a screwdriver to pop coins. I didn't want to do any damage to the
field so I only dug targets that I could pinpoint with my pro pointer. I went up and down the sideline of the field, figuring that is where people sit in lawn chairs.
I think I have finally found a location that has not been hunted before. I'll be going back soon and hope to pop some more coins.
The Ace 350 is a fine machine. I prefer it to my Whites Beach Hunter 300. I'm tempted to sell the Beach Hunter and get an AT PRO.
