A good set of headphones makes a huge differace

I was out hunting the other day when my Koss headphones started acting up. I wiggled the connector end and got some static but couldn't make them work. Lucky I carry a spare set in my survival kit. Just an old off brand pair I've had for years. What a huge difference!! Good tones were flat and almost unrecognizable. Needless too say I got those Koss pair fixed! So for those having trouble getting these Safaris figured out, start with the best set of phones you can afford!!

I used my stock Koss phones till they broke.Then I got a pair of Grey Ghost headphones.What a diff. They block out almost all outside noise.I can bearly hear my pinpointer.They make it easy to hear all the sounds. Very glad I got them.They are also built a little better,bigger wire etc.Get the best you can afford.Mine were $100.00 . but worth every penny.HH

I've had my grey ghost head phones for a fue years their nice, I tried other cheepies to see how they sounded and let me tell you the grey ghost phones blow them away! Wish they had a wireless pair, that would be cool.

I too thought headphones were overrated. Boy was I wrong. I got a pair of Jolly Rodgers Ultimates and my finds have increased dramatically. Not only that, I sweat a lot on my head. The Koss headphones deteriorated in no time. These don't at all. I thought I was just getting really good with my skills, but it's the headphones making me a genious.

Love my wireless auvio 33-283s ($29.99) from the Shack, but they've been discontinued for a couple of years. Many references to them across different forums here.
