Yesterday morning, a truly special man Achel Fulmer (puddlejumper - on this forum) passed away in Rover, Arkansas. The few lines I write today will not do justice to the kind of life he lead and the examples he set for others. Although metal detecting, Indian artifacts, Civil War history and coins were hobbies he cared a great deal about, his dedicated service to the Lord was his utmost priority. His faith and service never waivered in the many years I had the pleasure to know him. He also dedicated many, many volunteer hours to the rescue mission in Russellville, Arkansas. He was an inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. Always thinking of others first, he was the type of man that this world so desperately needs, a giver, not a taker. He had a wonderful baritone voice and shared his God given talent on many occasions in church services. He frequented this forum and posted quite often while his health was good. He mentioned to me how much enjoyment he got from reading all of the posts from everyone. Never one to just sit around, as his health declined and his physical activities were limited, he turned to photography. He had an eye for "the shot" and took many wonderful photo's of wildlife and historical structures. He made greeting cards out of many of these photo's. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Marcella, son Steve, daughter Sherry, his grandkids and a host of friends who will miss him deeply. Please take a moment or two to remember his family in your prayers. God bless you all..........
