Heard a very strong rumour that garrett are close to releasing some new detectors onto the market.
Does not appear to be a secret so I thought I would mention it here.
Donot know any more than that.

if They are and they are ready, they'll start to drop some big hints and have fun with us. I don't know about about any imminent release, but I hope we don't have a repeat of what happened when someone let the cat out of the bag (I hope it doesn't catch the little birdy.) and cause all the angst that surrounded the release of the At Pro.
Given that Garrett's is a progressive company, you can bet that there will always be something going on in the works at any given time; so it's not surprising that you'll hear rumours from time to time. Nothing wrong with a nice juicy rumour, especially if you get it from a juicy sauce, I just hope that no one leaking info too soon if correct.

There were rumors flying around after the release of the ACE 250 about a new release. And they lasted for years until there was actually a new release. It happens when it happens.

As I recall we are getting pretty close to a year when everything started with the At Pro.

Wouldn't surprise me....they've probably got a pretty decent Research and Development budget so they're probably have something "IN THE WORKS" all the time.

Oooh, update to the GTI series possibly? Would be nice to update their "top of the line" detectors. Maybe a little lighter, deeper and sleeker look? Oh the anticipation. I'm sure they've got something up their sleeves!

I just wish Garrett would come out with a seven inch or eight inch round concentric for the AT Pro. Except for the 4 1/2 inch (which is too small for water hunting) for water hunting. Sure is hard to pinpoint in chest deep water with the stock double D and the 6 1/2 X9 coil.....Jack
