A little excitment here tonight

An army of police have been chasing a murder suspect thru the national forest here since 10:00 last night.As I write this they have him more or less surrounded in a square mile area VERY close to my home.I can see police cars just down the road from my home and plainly hear a helicopter that is assisting in the search.The guy is desperate and has tryed to break into several homes in the area.The police have been to my home twice today to search the outbuildings.The guy is dressed in a sleeveless shirt and has already spent one cold night in the woods (15 degrees last night) and has to be cold,hungry and desperate.I hope they catch him before any innocent people get hurt.I have the old 12 gauge loaded for bear and will pull guard duty tonight.I pray I don't have to use it....but will if I must.Some of you might have seen this on the news tonight news media are everywhere.A St Louis T.V. crew is parked at the end of my property as I write this.

About 10 miles from the village of Caledonia Mo.We have 20 acres that border the Mark Twain National forest.About 100 miles from the Arkansas line.Usually pretty quiet and peaceful but we must be prepared to handle any trouble that should come our way as the nearest law enforcement is some miles away.Lots of excitement tonight tho.They are still in the area searching for the suspect.About an hour ago he tryed to break into a house about 1/2 mile from me.The homeowner scared him off with a shotgun.They must be 50 police officers in the area.I will be on guard but hope they catch him soon before someone gets hurt.Lots of people are really scared.
 
would be hard to try and go to sleep, I know that! Well you all don't live far from us at all!

...up in my necck of woods,the town newspaper building on main street,burned down to the ground hmm maybe a disgrunlted reader.Ironic it was celebrating 35 years in bussiness a day ago.The photograher busy takng pictures of there own building.Speacking of ironic,it does seem odd we humans work so that we do not have to work,that in war we humans do great harm then shake hands to stop this harm,sorry I'm just rampling along.
