A little relief from the heat = silver!

Had a few small rain showers yesterday and that helped with the extreme heat wave we've been having, so I thought I would get a little hunting in at a site that used to have a school once upon a time...........the temps was better, but the humidity was pretty high.........bagged a slick 1920-S Merc, a dateless Buffalo Nickel, a few wheaties, an old compact, and a little kids ring with a "W" initial on it.........for some reason, all the coppers at this site are toast........felt good to get a little digging in!!! :detecting:

I sure feel sorry for you guys in the heat. It is a toasty 66 here at 2:30 in the afternoon.

It was still in the high 80's, but overcast with light sprinkles and HUMID as all get out.............plus the dang flys were biting me around the ankles........they're worst than them dang mosquitoes.........but I needed a FIX bad!!! :crylol:

Great finds, I would LOVE to get out, but this heat is misreable!

Congrats on the finds Jim, It too has been hotter than all get out here. I tried to MD for an hour after work and made 1/2 an hour. I've been working outside and it wasn't any fun MDing if you can believe that.

Good to see you made it out,
Moose
