A little water hunting this morning and a nice find for me!

I just love to go get wet early in the morning on a hot summer day. Yesterday I got a little wet first thing digging a cell phone out of a ladies toilet:lol: but this morning I hit my favorite swimming beach. I had the whole place to myself and the water was clear and cool.

This place has a lot of swimmers in the heat of day and the water is deep enough out by the bouys to cover my head.

It was a nice morning. The finds were not to great at first and no gold came up in the scoop. I did find a valuable "Hello Kitty" ear ring and a kid ring. The usual change showed up in the scoop but still nothing to write home about. I tip toed my way out to the chin deep water and got a good signal. It was a knife. I find a lot of knives in the water an thiught this was just another El-Cheapo to put in the pile. When I got home and Nancy took a look she said "Hey, a Buck Knife" I took a closer look and sure enough  it was a good one. It was a Buck 290 assisited opening folder. (You know what I mean) :) and was in pretty good shape except that it had been sharpened with a brick or something. I reformed the edge and it came out razoe sharp. I looked it up on the internet and it retails for 82 bucks. No gold ring to put in the collection, but a nice knife to use! Kind of a guy find,
