A midnight hunt. A day hunt.

NIGHT
Went to the beach with Ken for a one hour hunt from midnight to 1:00am. Riki wanted to go too but had an early start in the morning, a six hour hike with the boy scouts. Will plan some after school hunts for him.
Minus 25cm tide so there was LOTS of new beach, wet sand, to explore. First time to see the tide at that beach so low, very impressed and lots of potential for a steady flow of goodies and also water hunts during the day. ;)

Two silver rings on the scales. The Tiffany one still needs to be cleaned.
802 yen in coins for me.
60 yen for Ken.

DAY
The keys and below.
At a different beach. Wasn't very productive and we were just about to leave when some older coins showed. Ken got the coins under the feather earring in the pic (real feather this time.) :) and was VERY happy to get three different kinds of 50 yen coins in one day. Easy to tell when he has just found an older one by the smile on his face.
I got my first silver 100 yen coin and first silver coin in Japan, so also VERY happy too. :)
Love the old coins and we all enjoy researching a bit of history together.
Ken got the silver pendant on the scales and 285 yen in current Japanese coins.
523 yen in coins for me.

WAY TO GO KEN! Nice hunting. By your smile, I can tell you are enjoying yourself hunting with the little yeller feller. :clapping: Ian, even though not shown, I sure your smile was just as big snagging the large ring. It sure looks heavy. Nice hunting also.
