I've been out two or three times since I hurt my back. Feeling much, much, better. Found a silver coin and tiny gold earring on my birthday. No pic. Was 33 coins from this goal when I stopped that day (a week or so ago) but I didn't want to risk it. Made it out for 90 minutes yesterday and found.......

Why are my milestone coins always dimes? Almost always.

:usaflag:Congrats ! You would think that a milestone coin would be a penny since there are infinately more of those laying around. 40K? Holy Buckets!!
 
Congrats on a great total!! I can't believe someone would actually keep count of clad coins. To me, they're just money, measured in pounds. I recently turned in 132 lbs. of clad to the bank, bought a 46" HDTV and a 500 mm lens for my Nikon.
 
Glad you are feeling better. That 40K in great! That's a lot of knee bends for sure. Congrats on some gold & silver :beers:

Where in the world have you been? I was looking at the coins you sent me just a few days ago and thought how long it had been since you'd posted. I'm glad you're still around.

Ha! My spreadsheet calculates weight too! 25,000 coins (sometime last year) was 199.96 pounds and valued $2640.94. (Why wouldn't one track it, he wondered?)

I'd like to stay healthy enough to try for 50K sometime next year. Then I'll take it easy. Probably not.

Around 15,500 of the finds before that dime were one cent coins.
