A moment of relaxation between detecting photos!

We just strolled along the Thames estuary foreshore to blow away the cobwebs, its blowing a force 6 gail and 10 degrees so your pics really cheered me up,have a great new year :cheers:
 
Thanks mskeng! You have a good year too. That's my son in the water, in the rock pool. It's a beautiful pool, at high tide the water rushes over the rocks into it. The pool is about 15ft deep, lots of kelp and marine life. In the bottom photo is my hubby going for abalone. He's heading towards that rock in front of him, and dove to about 20ft to get a few. It was exhausting he reackons, because there was a bit of an underwater current moving him around. But he enjoyed it just the same.:)
