I heard today that gas is expected to be up to $7 a gallon.
I was also told this may be the government's way to force use to use Ethanol - the alternative fuel that has been talked about but hardly used. The forcing of gas prices higher and higher may be the way to force Ethanol to be used...it would also force many older cars off the road that can't use it and also force some to get 'upgrade' kits installed....by certified mechanics to use the fuel with older cars. Is this the way the government will force people to buy cars that are sitting on car lots and no one can afford to buy? Forcing them to get rid of their older cars that work well but won't run with the alternative fuel. That sure would make a lot of car lots happy. Would make a lot of car makers happy. Would make a lot of auto repair places happy. Would help the economy right????
So, time to think about becoming Amish and getting a horse and buggy to get back to church with on Sundays.
