A new look at a current situation - gas prices..

I heard today that gas is expected to be up to $7 a gallon.

I was also told this may be the government's way to force use to use Ethanol - the alternative fuel that has been talked about but hardly used. The forcing of gas prices higher and higher may be the way to force Ethanol to be used...it would also force many older cars off the road that can't use it and also force some to get 'upgrade' kits installed....by certified mechanics to use the fuel with older cars. Is this the way the government will force people to buy cars that are sitting on car lots and no one can afford to buy? Forcing them to get rid of their older cars that work well but won't run with the alternative fuel. That sure would make a lot of car lots happy. Would make a lot of car makers happy. Would make a lot of auto repair places happy. Would help the economy right????

So, time to think about becoming Amish and getting a horse and buggy to get back to church with on Sundays.

Sure hope that news is not true and won't happen, but with the way the gov't and the worldly are it just may be! May make all the ones you mentioned happy, but not those who own older cars and cannot afford newer ones! Apparently, the older people, on SS and without much money are wanted off the highways and out of the way! Well, wait a while, and we who are true Christians will be gone..............soooooo be patient world and we will bid you goodbye and be with Jesus, our Savior and Lord!

Also may have to move closer to church or start one of your own in the home, so there would be no need to drive to be able to hear God's Word! I listen to LOVE WORTH FINDING, with Pastor Adrian Rogers, on Channel 372 (we have DISH TV) and he is really a terrific preacher. So sad that he has passed away but hopefully the church will keep playing his sermons! Had one on Mother's Day at 11:00 am Mo daylight time! I don't think anyone could hear any better preaching and teaching than what he does or did! He has been on the Book of Revelation with some very good teachings! Praise God we had him and hopefully there are more out there who preach the truth of the Word like him!

Tami and Troy are having a difficult time with the high gas prices! She has to drive from Benton, MO to Cape Girardeau twice a day which is ten miles one way. Troy works in construction, so I guess he has to drive to different places where they are building new homes! Really hurting a lot of people, the young families and those on SS and those who're unemployed! I pray the economy improves with the gov't supplement money! I have to spend mine on getting my car repaired.....therefore, no saving for me!

God will help us though, so lean on Jesus and trust in Him, for He will help His own by supplying our needs or catching us up into our heavenly home shining golden and bright!

God Bless!

I think they are already seeing less trips to town by the many of us who are tightening the belts. The higher it goes, the more houses will be let go, the more restaurants will close, etc.....
:( :( :(

and a motorcycle (actually a scooter (a 150cc)) that gets close to 80 miles per gallon.

I liked what Ma Betty wrote about us leaving this sin sick world!
