This Am I stopped by the local School District office.
i spoke with the supt of schools who called the Maintenance
supervisor, All of which amounted to me getting permission to
detetct on an old school lot about 16 blocks from home.

I went for 1 1/2 hrs after lunch

31 coins a mixed bag
1 locker key
1 Bic lighter ( my 1st)
1 spoon ( another 1st)

I went back to the office to thank them and to show the
2 qt size zip lok bags with junk some i dug and some
was just laying aorund. I asked the maint super to ck and see if
I did ok .. If not tell me and I wont be back..If i did good then
Ill for sure go back again.

Just the ramblings of a newbiew

Its usually easier to get forgiveness than permission. But in this case, it worked out well in the end.
Being forthcoming and open surely helped.

Good job, oldranger

Wasnt trying to inspire just keep my Tail outa trouble!!!!

But i figure if they said no Im no worse off than if
i didnt ask...As it turns out I may have a good
close local place to hit.. and maybe the Maint guy
will let other folks know i can be trusted not to screw things up

After all, Rangers dont screw things up ,they just DESTROY them !!!!!

Happy Safe Fun Hunting
