A New VIDEO On Garrett's New PRO-POINTER

It looks good. The thing that got my attention is when he said it does not interfere with your detector signal. I assume they made sure there is not a frequency clash with their garrett detectors. Maybe all brands. Anybody know?

I didn't want one until I watched that video. I still don't think I need one but I might ask Santa for one anyhow.

Chris

Screw it. I had a GC from Amazon for $200 so I ordered one from there. Got the free accesories and free shipping. I'll tell Garrett to send you your cut, John.

127.45 from KelleyCo free shipping with goodys

PS i asked about shipping there ad says detectors over 100.00 shipped free

I like Kellyco a lot but I had that Amazon GC I got for a gift so..............................

Make a solid, dependable, water poof little pin pointer for well under a hundred they would clean up on the pin pointer market. No one has made a pin pointer like that yet. Not everybody wants all the bells and whistle. I want a pin pointer that is simple and strong. Garrett made a great basic detector for a low price and had to add on to their plant. Other wise, they made money. I feel if Garrett made a pin pointer like that, they would cross the brand name barrier and everybody would buy one. That could also promote there detector sells. I get tired of babying my stuff and I feel I have paid a good price for them. I paid under $200 for my Ace 250 new and I am not paying almost as much for a little pin pointer.

There are many of us that can't afford buying a bunch of detectors like some do, or paying such high prices for a pin pointer.

That's my two cents worth.

You'll be a happy boy bud. It's a great little piece of equipment. I wish they would sell them a little cheaper but that ain't going to happen when you have a product going from factory through distributors and then dealers. Everybody has to make a profit. But it's solid as a rock and should last forever.

The Pro-Pointer is solid as a rock ( you could drive a truck over it ) and dependable. Put a piece of tape over the tiny speaker and it's waterproof. It doesn't have bells and whistles. About as simple as it gets. It's ergonomically correct and fits the hand like a glove, not bulky and boxy like some of the other stuf out there.

Bill

If you put a little piece of padding materiel under the tape you virtually eliminate the sound and if you're wearing earphones that'sanother plus.

That first coin recovery really surprised me. An Aussie $2 coin. My favourite target. I love the LED on it. Perfect for a nght hunt.
I'll see how my budget is, and will pick one up when I have the spare funds.

But the price!!

Look at the Sun Ray - $180. All this stuff is expensive and I wish it wasn't. I member when you could by a tector for $16.95. Here's some old cheapies.

Bill

Yeah the PP is as simple as it gets - turn it on - turn it off. No tuning or adjustments and the closer you get to your target the more intense the signal is. You can't miss.
