A nice pair of AVC'S

GRAY GHOST

New member
Hello all. Here is a nice pair of Alabama AVC buttons - a coat and a cuff - that i have in my small collection. The coat size has gold in all the right places and bears the pre - war Scovills backmark. The cuff size was alledgedly recovered on Culp's Hill many years ago, and bears the Horstmann & Allien backmark with rays. There's also a covering of what appears to be clear nail polish on it, making it difficult to photograph.

Both buttons are bought ones, they are becoming increasingly rare and are a cherished part of my collection. Thought you'd might like to see them! Thanks for looking, and good luck!

they are sweet buttons, I have dug a coat AVC and a friend of mine dug 5 AVC in a line at Savage Station a number of years ago.
