A nickel kind of hunt!

I've started the new year out swinging the Omega, figuring the F 75 LTD needed a little rest. Except for the "no cash value" tokens, I didn't dig all that many coins this morning, but 6 were nickels and 3 were of older varieties. Got 2 war nickels, 43p and 44d and then a 35 Buffalo. The 3 wheats are 26, 42d and a 51d. Also dug a variety of lead and brass. That Budweiser bottle opener was designed for the King Of Beers, by its size. That is one king sized bottle opener. The money clip, which was empty, came yesterday along with the keys and a bit of clad and 2 wheats. I ran the Omega with the 10" coil this morning and that combination is pure joy to swing. Nice and light weight and I can stick that coil into places I couldn't with the 11" on. I ran sen at 99, disc 1, d4 tones and a g b of 63. HH jim tn

Good Job, Jimbo!
Deer season is over, now I will be back to my other type of hunting. By the way, in the picture with the money clip, just below looks to be a Lt. Insignia Bar, could it possibly be Sterling Silver? Any markings on the backside?

Terry

Terry, it is the top piece of a bracelet and shows places of tarnish. No markings other then "STEVE" on the piece. Good to have you back among the swinging. However, that 1860 Hays for President coin you recently found in its own right was a good kind of hunting. HH jim tn
