Here I am after digging my umpteenth paper clip at Myrtle Beach last year. I search behind a dozen different condos that day and every area had been salted with paper clips recently. I had to dig them as they coming up all good coin signals.. My wife said I looked like a mad Ape stomping around.

Nauti and Ism, I agree with both of you. I felt like a monkey and as you can see I apparently did to my wife also. Ism, bobby pins, pop tops pull tabs and screw caps are a real pain for me also. I have learned to just scoop it all and most of the time the bobby pins stick onto the magnet I glued into my scoop. That is the smartest thing I have done. I took several broken microwaves apart and robbed the magnets out of them. They are really strong so don't pinch a finger between them. You can break one in half and super glue both halves into the same scoop at different locations or you can fix 2 different scoops. I have several scoops from 5 ft down to a hand unit and they all are magnetized.
Our club calls me the scoop man because of all the ones I have plus I have a connection with a friend where he makes and sell me convertible length scoops to club members at real bargains.
