A prayer and a thought for the day

Pete in MI

New member
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is sadness, joy; where there is darkness, light.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; not so much to be understood, as to understand; not so much to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

This remarkable prayer, written by Francis of Assisi

Maybe try going to YouTube or GodTube and search for:

The Love of Jesus
or ChiaOwl (on YouTube)
or Shield_of_Faith (on GodTube)

On the page with the link I posted did you see the YouTube image of us with an arrow in the center of the screen? If ya did you have to double click on the arrow to get it to work...not just a single click like most other links

a great song that is probably from that prayer. Instruments of Peace, by Maranatha. :)

Thanks Pete for your inspirational inputs, please keep it up.

I guess I'd be referred to as a "lurker" because I RARELY step into the limelight. I've been "shot at" to many times online and so I keep a low profile in everything. I'll post my most interesting piece of metal I found in the near future.

Again, I wish to thank the group for your acceptance. I enjoy reading all the things that are going on in your lives and metal detecting escapades. It takes me some time before I open up. This is the first group I feel I could trust in many, many years.

Mark

I can understand the low profile...been there before myself. Even thought of going to the Army surplus store and getting a flak vest and helmet.

As you've noticed this is a much better forum than many others....don't know of anyone here swearing at someone or just plain swearing.

These are all good peope and proud to call em Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Will be watching for your post of your cool finds.

Blessings to you and yours Mark

Welcome Mark and good to read your post! Post pics and posts when you are able to do so! We enjoy reading, seeing and being blessed by our Christian brothers & sisters! If I ever offend you please let me know, as I cannot ask forgiveness unless I know what the problem is! :)

God Bless!
