A prayer request for a co-worker;please....

..A man at my work place was a HEAVY smoker for a LONG TIME.....A few years ago;he developed a hoarseness in his voice that wouldnt go away...Drs told himthroat cancer from smoking(More ammo in my anti-smoking campaign)...He underwent radiation a little over a year ago,they told him if this doesnt work,say good-bye to your voice box...Yesterday was his last day at work for what may be a LONG time-The cancer in his throat has returned;this coming Wednesday;he will undergo surgery to remove his voice box...I told him I will say prayers for him at church tomorrow,and am asking prayers for Mike;please...Thank you;Steve

May the Lord give Mike His Peace today ........ and I would ask for a hedge of protection around him in the days ahead, certainly this Wednesday as the doctors and nurses perform the surgery. In the name of Jesus ......

Praying for Mike to have peace and comfort in knowing the drs will do all they can with the help of Jesus! May others who smoke take warning and quit smoking because it does a lot of harm to the body! May God touch Mike today with His healing power in Jesus' precious holy name! Amen! God Bless! Betty
