A pretty good day at the Grocery Store

Went out for about an hr to a small local park.
Found 43 cents mostly all pennies and new dimes
a Pittsburgh Pirate Pin (YAWN go STEELERS)
and a Padlock locked i couldnt find the key anywhere
near the lock.
Then i went to the grocery store. Its become a habit to
give my change a quick glance..... 3 WHEATS from
1954 and 56!! GO figure!
I wonder if i can scan the cash drawers next time???????

HAVE FUN AND STAY SAFE OUT THERE

I keep both my ears and eyes open when near cash registers. Silver coins have a distinctive look, of course, but an even more distinctive sound. Once you get used to hearing it, you can spot it anywhere.
I especially pay attention when in convenience stores.

me too i love those finds.

I was once thanked profusely by a convenience store clerk (an Indian or Pakistani) for taking off his hands 6 Franklin halves. He thought they were phony. He was saving all his oddball coins for me but he hasn't come through for me lately. I expect he finally figured it out.
