A pretty lady from New Orleans. The GT did good.

My digital camera will not take closeups. I did these with my scanner - it sucks too. This picture thing is just too hi tech for me. Just don't have the right equp, but I wanted to show the lady and some others.

Florida is much more than beach hunting. Found the lady at one of my researched sites in the deep woods, The Indians (yes I dinged the 03 with my digger) and Buffalo at old homestead a month ago. The pennies (1942, 1917D, 1918, 1944), various old homesteads. this summer. Yes I know my 1917D missed the jackpot by one year.

Checkout the new and the old nickles. Found the new Buffalo at 8 o'clock this morning on a beach hunt. Considering the shine, probably dropped yesterday (the thrill ain't there). The old one a 1917 in great shape for a buffalo (I like this one).

Thanks for looking at my outoffocusmisscoloredbadhuedmissizedphotos. I hope you can read them up.

Disc me out -

Good work Don. Nice finds.

My latest finds were all possums. That's 3 in the last 2 weeks. Fed them to the buzzards.

Found last week. I thought I had hit the mother of all good coin finds. This thing is silver dollar size and heavy. After scraping dirt off it turned out to be just one big big token. For what, I don't know. Enough of this scanning. It just takes too many brain cells to get in on the WWW. I'm going back to looking at other posters postings for awhile.

Like them tokens.

Thought I found another silver dollar once.......
Pulled a dollar size coin from about 10" and really got wound up. Things started to fade when I noticed it was too light. Turned out to be an aluminum Spiegels token. Still a neat find.

I haven't found one of them for a few years now, just not getting out like I should.
You have some great finds and looks like the GT is doing good for you. I went out today to a old fairgrounds we seem to find some new coins and a few old once in a while to. My wife went to and met 3 other guys with the Explorer while I used my GT and my wife the MXT. I didn't get a lot as I left many of the 176-177 that were shallow sounding in the ground as they are zinc pennies, but if they were weaker sounding I would dig. I concentrated more on the very iffy signal and tried to wiggle them to a tone I like. Got some rusty bottle caps and some very small nails and got these 3 older coins this time.
These were very iffy or very weak sounding in with a lot of rusty bottle caps as the GT was nulling a lot and just caught a little high tones that sometimes were not real repeatable, but wanted to see what I could find. I wish I would have brought my smaller coil as the 10 inch was kind of big for this area.
I got around 65 coins total while the wife got 103 and none were old.
Give me a chance to try out my printer/copier and scanner I just got as this picture is scanned.
Pennies are 1927 S and a 1948D and my merc is 1934D.
