Had a couple hours after church before the ball games started and took the Omega to a 80's school yard. In the past the school had yielded me one silver dime, a Buffalo nickel and 5 or 6 wheats, so the potential for older coins is there. Anyway, I was mainly expecting clad and worked a spot in front of one of the doors that the teachers and kids come out of and play. Fairly quickly I eye balled the junk ring and then the whistle and dug some clad. I had worked my way over to a tree and got a nice dime reading. From about 2" I recovered a small 925 silver ring. About a foot away I got another 84-85 reading right next to a root and from about 3" recovered the 53d Rosie dime. By then it was close to the time to be heading home for the first ball game and got a 83 reading, which was the 58 wheatie. All in all, with a couple of pieces of silver, it was a nice 1 1/2 hour hunt. Had the 10" coil on and running 0 disc., sen 85, 3h tones and a gb of 71. HH jim tn
