Nice back yard, more like the PONDerosa :bouncy:

Three bridges that I need to cross are flooded out to head to the oceanfront and its getting worse,,,,,,hope the water goes down by low tide in the morning,,,,bad thing is the water is not tidal,,,,,norm Second photo is bridge and my blue truck isnt as high as that red truck,,,,,,

really been a wet last few mos here(east Tx) - one night we got 6" in the rain gauge-rained 24out of 30 days in oct.-its finally gone someplace else

We are getting plenty of rain here in the northwest also.
Ours is a steady rain for about a week, then a 1-2 day dry out
period, then rain again for another week or two. Looks like you
guys get hammered all at once. Our rivers are up and down each
week but haven't flooded too badly yet. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

We had a house go in the ocean in South Nags Head, this afternoon. There's about 5 left that are always in peril during Noreasters. When that row goes in it moves on to the next. I have some friends that moved their house back 3 lots from the oceanfront, about 12 years ago. Now there is one house left in front of theirs and the front pilings were dangling 3 feet above the beach, this afternoon.
Hang in there Va. beach folks, it'll be worth it. We haven't had the wind y'all have had.
Norm,
I'm going to try and hit low am. down here, but my guess is the water will still be to high.

Don't bother going wheels up to Bermuda, Mate. The surf is still too rough to hunt the Mine and the soft stuff is piled into the Lane and wet sand. A bit of light, junk jewellery and some clad (not to mention a handful of can slaw and pulltabs/bottle caps - I was using my Whites DF)

We could always meet up on the Mayan Riviera, headed there next month.

My God, Ina that's a lot of water. Supposed to be a super high tide tomorrow morning, early. Probably going to be some flooding so I hope you are on high ground.

Be Well,

BDA:cool:

left to right in front

Clothesline post
white concrete flower pedestal Immediately behind that is a T post for hanging baskets, etc.

Back tree/scrub line...

The two poles held up a Norfolk Island Pine tree that is in a pot. It's inside now and big!
Next is a Blue bird box my husband made on a post
Next to the tree is a bird bath
Then another blue bird box.

There is one empty lot left in our development. So if and when the fellow builds, our view will change! It's nice to see it opened. Plus we do not have very many fences here. Makes a difference!!
