Hope everyone had a great Independence Day! We had a great Saturday my daughter got married to Rolando so I had a busy weekend to say the least so Monday Am I got out at 6am.
I went back to the old mental hospital and decided to work a very large grassy area that borders Long Island sound..
I was using my equinox and the amount of clad here is incredible then a solid 33-34 tight signal I knew it sounded like a half and sure enough when I cut the plug and at the bottom of the hole was a black half staring back at me! My first walker of the year! 1920 boy was that a good signal and sight I hit a area along the sidewalk and had two more masked but repeatable one way high tones which were the two mercury dimes 1943 And 1945 mixed with lots of old pipe and ceramic pipe a few old buttons and one mangled sterling ring and a tiny sterling pendant which is half the size of a dime and was 6” down the nox hit it like a silver dime no problem.
And also found the 1974 Kennedy half And a knotts Berry farm token from California and a bunch of clad coinage this spots only a few miles from my home so it’s nice and close found the 1777!half Reale here last week so it keeps me coming back.
