in my backyard that is and trying to get rid of Dandelions and other weeds! :rofl: Yes, Dandelions are flowers but when in my lawn they are weeds! :lol:
I am really tired and must take a Quinine Tab to try and keep leg cramps from forming while I'm sleeping tonight! They are very painful!! Just goes to show I need to get out more and exercize! Sunny and in the 70;s......makes a great day to rejoice and praise God for! Sooooo Praise God and Thank You, Jesus!

Hope you all had a blessed and beautiful day as well and were able to get out and enjoy it!

Ma Betty! You tricked me!! I just said to Hank "Hey, Hank , Ma Betty got out to hunt...let's see what treasures she found"...so I click on ...and :rofl: got fooled !

Hope you don't get leg cramps tonight...take care of yourself.

Hate those leg cramps. I got them most often when in the military....you want to scream out loud from the pain but at 3 am in the morning the other guys in the barracks want to sleep. I get them occassionally over the years since. I know that pain. Interesting that the one leg I got all those cramps in were my left leg...and its the left leg I have the DVT (deep vein thrombosis) bllod clots coming out of. Coincidence?

Hear dandelions are one man's weed and other peoples wine or tea or children's play toy. :) :thumbup:

The grass up here is turning green. Yesterday I saw the first boat pwoering across the lake, several motorcycles, and even the first dragon fly...spring has sprung. Maybe I can go out detecting soon.

It was hard to turn over or move when you are sore and stiff all over! I had to hold to the back of my chair to get myself up and down today! But about 3:30 pm I went out and did some more just to get used to bending over and digging! I can't get on my knees as I would not be able to get up again and would need help! I did cramp a little in my left ankle and had to get up twice and walk on it and used rubbing alcohol to get it warm so it would stop trying to cramp!

I know what you mean Pete but how in the world did you keep from holloring and screaming because I hurt so bad that I can't help it! Had cramps inside my thighs so bad that when I got up at my daughter's house, I was holloring so loud that it scared her, her husband and his brother! They asked what they could do and I said I'll be okay and made it hobbling to the bathroom where I rubbed and rubbed to get the circulation and warmth back in my legs! Oh, the pain!!!!

My right leg has flibitis and was very sore and stiff, more so than my left...although the left was the one that bothered me in the night! Quinine sure helps and you might try it sometime if you haven't done so, providing it is a med that you are able to take!

As soon as I get more used to bending and digging without getting so tired and sore, I will try to make it out and do some :detecting:! Cliff wants to go bowling and so I'll let him bowl while I hunt! Remember, I am still having dizzy spells and makes it hard to bend over or stand up at times!

God Bless and hope you find something really good if and when you get out hunting! My prayers are with you all! Hope Sherry is better and not so dizzy! That flu really affects people in many different ways and lasts forever it seems!

Yep, I fooled you! :lol: I knew that when I posted that you all would think I went :detecting: so I put a little humor in my post! I used to be so sober when I grew up because of a really strict father that I try to be joyful, happy and more humorous now! You know God has a humor and I've had a taste of it! I laughed and llaughed when He showed His humor to me! God is just Awesome and I love Jesus so much!

Thanks Mike.....I have plenty of weed and feed and fertilizer and weed killer, but neither Cliff nor I have felt like spreading it on the lawn! I like to dig the dandelions for some reason, maybe it's the farm gal in me! :lol: I did it mostly to see if I could do it and for how long! Well, I found out right away that I'm still not strong enough for :detecting: for any length of time and at my age :blink: I need to be close to a bathroom! Most aren't open yet and won't be until Mother's Day or afterwards!

I did another l/2 hour digging and worked some of the soreness out until I sat down again! Oh My!!!! I told Cliff I think I need a Walker just to get up from sitting down! :)

I will let everyone know what I've found, if and when I ever do get out! Lots of work on my home needs to be done, as yet and no energy to get going right now!

I hope you stay well and safe and find lots of oldies and goodies!

I cannot kneel even to pray! My knees hurt so bad when I get down on them! I have to bend over and do my digging that way! But hopefully before hot summer hits, I can get out at least once and find something worth posting! Go for the gold and keep the faith that Jesus is with you protecting, providing and keeping you and Nancy safe!

Thanks J! Some of God's creation aren't so good when they are weeds in my lawn! :biggrin:

And yes Mike and Bryce I was diggin' in the dirt and since it was still moist from all the rain.....I really got my hands dirty! I didn't wear gloves like I do when :detecting: !!

stomach was quezzy a couple times.

Wasn't easy to keep from screaming. Detecting that ball field is good for me in that I carry a small spade with me. I can use it in that open field for digging but most of all I use it to help get back up again. Might have to carry some kind of hiking staff for other places that a shovel would be frowned upon.

Praying for ya Betty so you can get out and do some detecting and some of your aches and pains subside to enjoy life more.
