A request for prayer that should not need to be made...

those who know the Word, knows we should not criticize others, that we should pray one for another, we should pray for those in authority over us, that in God's realm there is no politics to divide a nation or a world...

I had seen a recent YouTube about the wonderful music of Steven Curtis Chapman who sang at the White House - "God is God" was the song and with YouTube people make comments. Most of what I read turned the stomach - no praise to God for the music but instead criticism of the President.

I had to reply to one...my comment to the individual was "Who are you to condemn and critcize? Are you God?"

I am not God and certainly not my place to judge others. Just wanted to pass along to that individual no one is in a position to judge one another or controls everything except God. As the song says "God is God".

The best that we can do for him is to pray.....and he covets our prayers. I pray for President Bush, Vice-President Cheney, and the Congress and their families. I do this most nights and those who criticise are blinded spiritually and are unhappy.....so they need our prayers also!

If they were asked what they would do concerning the terrorists, I wonder what their answer would be? I'm sure none have answers to do something that would prevent terrorists attacks, but sure have enough screaming and yelling to run our president and the government down, which is a waste. Let them go to a third world country and live for awhile...(like Iran, North Korea and etc) and then see what their attitude is when and if they return to the good ole USA!!

Thanks again for your prayer post for our President....may our Lord keep him, his family and our nation safe! God bless America! My prayers are with you and your family too!

then came back home with full pardons for being draft dodgers in the 60s and 70s. Those who did the right thing were treated shamefully by those who shamefully left their own country and came home getting better treatment than the veterans who fought for freedom.

that the Viet Nam Vets were treated so terribly...but that is in the past and needs to be left in the past....things are better for our fighting men and women now with support from most of us!

I used to dwell on things that happened to me in childhood and during the marriage and divorce....but with Jesus....I am a much happier person and look towards the future of what will be someday when Jesus returns to earth and there will be true peace with no more wars! So, keep on, keepin' on for Him, as mortal life is just a little while but eternity is forever whether in heaven or hell! I prefer to be in my Savior's presence than the Lake of Fire with Lucifer the liar, who's the father of lies! May our Lord and Savior bless you and your family more and more!
