Just a bit nippy starting out this morning, but a 53 Rosie pretty quickly upon entering the woods helped warm my water bottle....and me. Followed along the side of an old path for a while and in fairly quick succession dug 3 nickels. Got 5 in total for the hunt. No V's or Buff's, unfortunately. Worked my way along a rotted down tree and snagged the sterling ring with some kind of black stones all around it. Along the way dug 3 mini's of which, 2 appeared to have been fired. 1, was pushing the 7" deep mark as close as I could tell. Got the leaf jewelry piece near the end of my hunt and although not marked, it appears to be silver and has a loop and may have been on a chain. I like finding keys, but when one is a car key, know the looser was put out some, probably. Other then the Sharpie marker, nothing unusual came to light today. Maybe tomorrow. F 75 LTD with the 11" DD coil and running in boost mode. HH jim tn
