A silver & wheaties.............

Hawkeye Jim

New member
made it out for about a hour and a half hunt yesterday after work at an old ballfield. All the top surface coins have been pretty much hunted out by other hunters, but all the older coins seem to be in the five to sevin inch range and the E-Trac is sure helping me get to some of them.

Dug the 1936 Washington Quarter and nine wheaties ranging in dates from 1913 to 1950 --- I'm starting to get the hang of this new language the E-Trac is talking and I'm liking it!!!

HH - Hawkeye Jim.

Love seeing those big silver come out of the ground. I haven't found any in awhile. Makes me want to go out and hunt! Congrats.

Good work. Whenever I get a Wheat I think to myself it could have been a silver dime and the Etrac would have found it. Well done. Thanks for the post.

Nice finds Jim. I'd rehunt all your old sites that you searched with your Coinstrike. Maybe even a couple of times using different settings. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. HH

I was going to keep it in the dirt clod and keep it for a contest for our next club hunt --- but the curiosity got the best of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's awesome, Jim!! :clapping:

I love the silver coins still in their dirt clods!! They make a great picture!!

Keep the finds coming!! It's good to hear you and the E-Trac are starting to become ONE!! :minelab::beers:
