A smooth sea

Here are a couple quotes that my father-in-law (desceased) had on placks in his home. These are old Chinese proverbs. I think most people can relate these to metal detecting.

"A smooth sea never makes a skilled sailor."

And my favorite and I hope yours, too.

"If your heart is in it, you will find a thousand ways to achieve your goal.
If your heart is not in it, you will find a thousand excuses."

May your heart be in it.

I've never used an AT Pro. I've even heard some people are having trouble with bottle caps. The AT Gold has almost no problem with them. I did a four hour hunt in a city park and never dug one. So it seems to me some of the very old places that haven't been used in modern times may have a lot of caps but no aluminum. So thanks for the idea.
