..the song is performed,and I believed written by Don Williams;country song writer extraordinaire entitled"Lord,I hope this day is Good"....it opens"LORD,I HOPE THIS DAY IS GOOD/IM FEELIN EMPTY AND MISUNDERSTOOD/I SHOULD BE THANKFUL LORD;I KNOW I SHOULD/BUT LORD I HOPE THIS DAY IS GOOD"...it goes on "LORD,have you forgotten me/Ive been prayin to you faithfully/Im not sayin Im a righteous man,but LORD I hope you uinderstand...it goes on to say "I dont want fortune and I dont want fame,send down YOUR thunder LORD,send down YOUR rain,and when you plan just how it will be,plan a good day for me"....it finishes up by saying"Youve been the KING since the dawn of time/All Im asking is a little less crime/It might be hard for the devil to do,but it would easy for YOU"...Truly,a plea issued to the LORD by probably all of us;sometimes feeling alone and forgotten,even by HIM....Ive been there,many times...There was a woman at church today when I got there to practice,she has gone to seminary,waiting for placement.she told me"WOW!!!I LOVE THAN SONG!!!WE CAN ALL IDENTIFY WITH THAT ONE!!!"...Indeed;as can ALL of us.....

A very good song, WGSteve, and we all certainly can identify to it, as Christians do have troubles and trials and need to call upon Jesus, our Lord, everyday! He is our Savior, provider, protector, guide and our All in all! His ways are far better than our ways! Amen!
