Had my best day in a long time. A three silver day with the Minelab Advantage

Then about 2 hours later got another silver dime then got the silver quarter. Then this guy I was detecting with all of a sudden wants to quit early (around 3:30) so, we had to quit early. I was driving. Yes, that's right. Even though this was my best day in a long long long time, WE HAD TO QUIT EARLY. BUT AM I MAD? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'M NOT MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why would I be mad? I mean, this may be the last day we get to detect this year and I looked forward all week to this day.
Am I going to mention his name and drag him though the mud? Nooooooooooooooo. But if you look really close there are subtle hints as to who just had to leave early and keep me from finding any more silver! I probably would have found a walker .50 silver or a standing liberty silver quarter. But nooooo.

I thought the 'D' was rather high on this quarter? Aren't they usually a little lower below the wreath? Maybe a misstrike?
Mad? Me? Have I ever gotten mad on these boards? Naw! LOL! Why, I can't even remember the last time I got mad!

I realize they aren't very old or very valuable but, what the hey, I found 'em, they were deep, they hardly gave a hit, I took a chance and dug 'em. I'm happy. Very happy. Detecting is a fun sport!
Thanks for looking!

I'd say that's a good day Tony! Silver quarters are getting harder and harder to find. WTG!

Nice silver Tony...too bad you had to cut the hunt short your next coin may have been a St. Gaudins.
From your mouth to God's ears!
I'm sure there's probably many out there just waiting for a coil to go over them.

After putting on my special Minelab decoder glasses I see the hidden encoded message in your reply.
Thanks CC!
We have ways of dealing with this nondescript person!

from Canyon Country/Santa Clarita! I go out there a couple times a year! Maybe we can hook up and do some beeping some time?

Just so I would not be prone to giving a fisherman's story and stretching the truth, the fist dime was the depth of the point of the Lesch to the hilt stop part (hand protector thingy).
The other dime was a little deeper and the quarter was between 7 and 8 inches (I just measured my Lesch and where it hit on it.)
For some reason though, the first dime hit hard. The second dime didn't hit hardly at all. It was just a sort of scratchy sound but it scratched all the way around as I swung the coil so figured I'd dig and see if it was silver as my disc was turned up all the way. Same with the quarter but the quarter was just a little better sounding.
My ground balance may have been off as I manually ground balanced it. Maybe the first coin was maching GB'd and the latter two were manually GB'd? I do know that a machine not GB'd correctly will not hit properly on coins.
