Got out for a little while today with Ashdigger and hit a few spots. The first couple skunked me with the exception of a lone 1917 wheat cent. Only had a couple hours left so I suggested we head to one of mu old standby "work out" parks so I can end the day with at least 1 silver.

Got the first merc about 5 minutes after getting there. I was so glad I would end the day with at least 1 silver. about an hour and a half later, Ashdigger had to go but I had about 25 minutes left for me and i told him I was going to hunt a little longer to see if i cant get at least 1 more silver.

well I ended up getting 2 more about 5 minutes apart followed by a couple wheaties. What a great way to end the day.:super:

Thanks Bryce. it has been too long since i had a 3 silver day. Can get the second one but the third alludes me too many times.
 
Man you cant stay away from the silver can you!!!!!! Very nice!!! Glad to see you pulling some goodies out of the ground!!!

It's always a successful hunt when you see Silver sticking out of the dirt. Congrats on the trio and the wheats also. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:
 
Nice haul for shure and I think I know how you could have done even better.Go to the best spot first :rofl:

Thanks for the replies y'all. It was a fun day. 3 mercs... Could that be considered a Hat Trick????
