A trip to the old school this evening...

waited for the thunderstorm to make up its mind if it was coming or not..rolling thunder and a few drops made for a waste of many hours.

Put the Sunray 8 inch coil on the Minelab and tried a section of school property I found some wheaties and a Merc dime in before.

Not a big haul, 3 Wheat pennies (one is the earliest Wheatie I have found up here so far - a 1911) one was a '44 the other a '45, 2 Mem pennies. and a bent coin that turned out to be a German 1971 1 Deutsche Mark that was under a tree.

The 1 Deutsche Mark is about the size of a quarter. It was bent (I beat it back into somewhat flat shape to be able to photograph it.)

Makes me wonder how it came to be where I found it.
