I use a vibratory tumbler with carbon steel elliptical shot and jewelry soap. Carbon steel shot is non abrasive and the jewelry tumbling soap won't patina coppers.

this is the one I bought all stainless steel

This looks like the one I got, but think it maybe bigger or longer as I wanted to go the extra. Mine has the control to regulate the speed of it and the drum is 9 inches around and 7 inches deep I believe. Thanks for posting a picture of it.

They make some heavy duty ones also!

I also have a 25 pound like this I have been using as I did a lot of cleaning of other people in our club a few years back. I also have a bigger vibrating tumbler to i used for my wheat pennies as it is not as hard on the pennies and they look mostly normal. I run only water to wash them in the tumbler and use crushed walnut shells dry , then plain water and dry. come out decent , but the very edges are a little cleaner, but many say they look normal and not dug, the rotating one cleans them too much and don't look natual.
