A VERY SAD STORY MY WIFE TOLD ME-AND,A HARD LESSON LEARNED...

...My wife told me this story from one of her co-workers-This co-worker's mom and dad were out to the beer-garden getting good and sloshed...WELL-they got home;and they have a little 4 LB.some kind of toy dog-It seems in her mother's less-than-sober state, she either tripped over or stepped on this dog when it came running out to greet them-end result,3 broken vertebrae in the dog's spine;and they had to have the dog euthanized:cry::(..
She said her mother is inconsolable;and heartbroken...Imagine that;A member of your family comes to greet you and welcome you home, and you are so drunk, you end up killing them...:(:(2-legged,4 legged, winged,or whatever...doesnt matter;a member of your family...Another example of how the abuse of alcohol can affect a lot of people;in families, and outside of families.:(..This is another good reason, among many;that I dont abuse it anymore:thumbup:...

In my drinking years I never killed anyone or any animal but I did kill a marriage. Been sober now since Oct 13, 1989 and have no desire to go back to that lifestyle that God's grace has delivered me from. Thank you Father for your grace and Thank you Jesus for all you have done for me.
