I just sent several of you a warning about two books that are being distributed to our kids in the schools. I don't have all your emails, so if you want this info send me your email addy through private message.

The name of the books are Conversations with God and Conversations with God for Teens, written by Neale D. Walsch.

with 3 kids in school one elementary age who gets the scholastic books i am very appreciative of this info. I had no idea something like this was out there. I will make sure she does not order this book. It is decietful from the title. and the excerpts i had read are a disturbing thought that someone would confuse our children in thier faith. and to use scripture to do it is even worse. I cant think of it right now but i do beileve there is scripture talking about what happens when one destroys the faith of the children. if anybody knows which scripture this is please post it. thanx for the heads up Mike....

Just for the Halibut I read part of one and it is total blasphemy!

I pray the Lord will bless the author with his just desserts soon, along with the publishers, et-al.

It is written in such a manner that the unknowing reader could easily be led astray into eternal damnation.

the young are vaunerable espically when it comes to thier faith. I feel the book should be banned due to its title portraying it as a christian book and it most definitly is not one. as christians we should have some say in this matter to get it removed off the order forms. / list. think of those families who are new to thier faith and they get this book for thier child. being like newborns in the christian faith how are they to know this is not scriputual? espically when scripture is thrown into it.

will have to do something for attention on it once things settle down on this end. Thanks for the input as I do have 2 grandchildren now with Casey having one on the way...something for parents to know about.

Yes, I also read your email warning and it is a shame how satan twists God's truth into lies or half-truths just like he did Eve and then Adam in the Garden of Eden. He is using others to destroy our children and then our nation! The ones involved in writing and publishing this book will also be destroyed by satan, as it always happens that those who do his work are destroying themselves, for God will not be mocked!

God Bless!

Hi dobbie....I am not sure what you are referring to in the scripture, but Matthew Chapter 18 speaks of a small child...verse 6 says: But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. This speaks of whosoever comes to Jesus as a little child will receive Him, so He loves the little children and woe to they who harm them in any way!

Also there is a scripture where Jesus is holding a little child on his lap and He says the angels always behold their faces....not quite like it is written, but I can't find it right now....I am too tired from a trip to Cuba, MO and will tell more about it when I'm feeling better and able to read the Bible, for I am having trouble seeing the words! The Bible is full of warnings about when a person harms a baby or child they're in deep trouble with God and will face the consequences for doing so, for precious are they in His sight!

God Bless!

i have read conversations with God.That writer had a conversation with someone. On this forum we call him satan.

this is a good one. but it talks about those who destroy the faith of a child. maybe it is the same verse i dont remember.

Hi dobbie.....I haven't found what you are looking for, as yet, but Ps 127.3 says Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward. Matthew 19.14 But Jesus said, Suffer not the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto Me; for such is the kingdom of heaven. (That is why we all must come to Him as a little child and accept Him by faith, for He loves the little children and when we are saved we are as little children in His sight) Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your love, grace and mercy for the saving of repentant sinners!

Children are innocent until they come to the age of acknowledgement and when they can hear and learn there is a God and Jesus is the Savior, until then none will be sent to hell, for although they are born in sin, they don't know what they do until able to do so! To me, anyone who destroys them by teaching them not about Jesus and causing them to go astray will face the punishing wrath of God either on Earth or on His Judgement Day! None shall escape who leads them away from God's truth!

God Bless!
