A WATCH FOB WITH SEAL

Youngted

New member
T2 SE fitted with a Nel sharp shooter coil found this Victorian period watch fob with a glass seal intaglio the portrait appears to be that of the Duke of Wellington Victor at the battle of Waterloo

Brian, thats a nice find especially as the 'intaglio' is still in one piece.what is the metal used in the seal housing is it brass or something like that and is it possible the intaglio could be amber.

That is an awesome find. Can't imagine digging relics that's as old as what you guys find. On another note, what kind of depth are you getting with the Sharpshooter?
Thanks, Bill

:ukflag: That's a great find that it's on my wish list along with any seal matrix , would you recommend the Nel sharp shooter over the standard coil?

The Nel Sharpshooter gets in between the iron better on my sites so I tend to find more with it. Depth a little less than the standard coil perhaps but it is my preferred coil now.

I also use the NEL Sharpshooter as my prefered coil,it just works well on my T2,dont think i have used the stock coil in a long time

Cool finds buddy
