About Guvner...the owner of these forums.

Aside from all the teasing, ribbing, bantering, gloating...and flat out making up stuff that he does....he's not half bad.

On a very serious note...he knows that my father isn't that well.

G and I have a blast hunting together but I have set a limit as to how far from home I will travel because of my dad's health.

Aready 4 times this year..Guvner has traveled in excess of 2 hours just so we can hunt together at some podunk parks...and I really appreciate it.

Just wanted you guys to know that the owner of these great forums is a pretty good feller.....most of the time:biggrin:.:beers:

I will never hear the end of it from G though...because he and I banter back and forth over who was the better speller in grade school:detecting:...seriously. Seems we both take great pride in the fact that we were each spelling bee champs.

I will admit to the blunder though:surrender:...and thank you for pointing it out to me. Just another slap in the face that lets me know I need to wear my reading glasses more often.:crylol:

and I would throw my lures up in the trees. She didn't know I was having a cold one or two. I wasn't shamed by the throws I was ashamed of climbing a tree gassed, Its not a pretty sight, white boy, crack shinin, baggy shorts up a tree. Solution:quit drinking........no, quit fishin. take up metal detecting.

I hope your dad gets better Bryce...and I know your free time is very limited.

It's nice of the Guvner to travel your way.

Sorry your Dads not up to par Bryce..

Thanks Elton. I'm afraid things aren't going to change a whole lot...and it now needs to center around making his time enjoyable. Hopefully it will be at least a few years of time. Kidney health and maintenance has made some amazing steps forward over the last few years...so hopefully my dad can benefit from that.
