About that F=2......

Old Katz

New member
I see Kelly Co is offering two diffeent deals on the F-2:
$215 you get 8in coil and 4in and free Fisher pinpointer

Deal number 2, 8in 4in 10in and free pinpointer
$275.

Sounds really good. BUT how does this baby hold up in the wilds
relic hunting?

Can anyone with hours of experience respond to the question?

Katz

I use mine for coin shooting. It may not be the deepest, but value for money, You can't beat it. Just turn on and go. Go for the three coil deal. Oh it's very light and pinpoints very well in it's own right. I can't comment on the relic numbers but it hits the coin numbers really well.

Mine will hit belt buckle size relics at 18+ inches, not too bad on other stuff, like Hinges, pulleys, or curry combs, horseshoes, never got into CW stuff yet with it in Indiana, very good on coins and old farmtools in the woods.:detecting:

If you really want to go relic hunting I would get the omega 8000 if you are looking for history like I do it is worth having a machine that is designed for that. The T2-F75-LTD cost a lot but the 8000 is a deal is fast great at unmasking in iron. More bang for the buck

It is a fantastic machine......For the money spent. It nails quarters at 4-6'',no problem with the 10'' coil.Bought one for my GF to take with us on our detecting outings.I think that it is better than an Ace 250,which says alot.Certainly not in the same league as my E-Track however.

Hey Old Katz, BEWARE!! Those FISHER & BOUNTYHUNTER Pinpointers ARE A JOKE!! I got USED one in a Package Deal, and GAVE IT
AWAY, because I WOULD NOT EVEN try and sell it for $5.00 You have to PRACTICALLY TOUCH the Coin or Metal Object to get
Any Response!! I can't believe First Texas would even want to have THEIR NAME ASSOCIATED with that PIECE OF JUNK!! Also,
I own (3) FISHER DETECTORS, and THEY ARE EXCELLENT (2-CZ'S & F-75 LTD)!! If you need a VERY GOOD Pinpointer, SPEND
the money and get a GARRETT PINPOINTER or if you can find a USED MERLIN or SHERLOCK PINPOINTERS!! Don't get that
KELLYCO V-MAX PINPOINTER either!! Just MY OPINION, hope this helps, Les Robinson
