About that "sniper" coil for the ace..

I was looking at the sniper coil for the ace 150/250. I see one that looks like a DD, and the solid one as well. My question is, are they different from one another? If so, what are those differences? Would one be better than the other, as I'm looking for the best one for trashy areas? Thanks for any input.

Frist of all forget about the Ace 150. You won't be happy with it and want to upgrade to the 250, in my opinion.
Spend the extra $50 bucks and get the Ace 250. Second you want the 4.5 BLACK coil. The small white coil
is for another Garrett machine.

You'll love it when you get the Ace.......most everyone does.

The Sniper coil for the Ace is a concentric coil. It is also a coaxial coil (double shielded). What this means is, that when in pinpoint mode it gives off no signal above the coil or to it's sides. If you hunt around metal poles eta, if you tilt the coil ever so slightly away from them, you can pick up targets within an inch of them. I have also picked up coins like this while the top of the coil was in direct contact with metal play equipment.

P.S Just remember that in pinpointing mode, you have no discrimination.
