About these paid Hunts

New member
When I did my first paid Natural hunt it was for the B.O.N.E. show two years ago. It was my first attempt at getting folks to sign up and pay to hunt with no planted prizes. No one found anything worth the entry fee. But it was for Charity. So it went without comment.
The second one was this last spring or the B.O.N.E. show again. This time I had found a better site and all entries had a great time.
With that under my belt, I felt as though I could pull it off again. This time there were no charities so I charged only enough to cover the cost of the field and provide Drinks. I think 11 people entered and that about covered that. But we all had a great time, even though it was blistering hot.
Now comes the Fall hunt. This time I have 32 entries 28 paid. The field is covered and drinks provided and Prizes galore.
If this one is a success, I will have a Spring and Fall Hunt next year. I already have one donation toward next springs hunt. I will be opening an account for these hunts and the fees and any donations be they cash or item, will insure the start of the next hunt.
What's in it for me? (A) Knowing I brought you all together for one common Goal.
One last thing I would like to say. These Hunts are NONPROFIT. All moneys collected from the results of these hunts will be used to make the day one to remember and insure the success of the next hunt.

We'll try not to be too much of a problem...

Thanks for putting it on...
