ace 250 problem HELP PLEASE

I have an ace 250 and when I pass over a coin there is no sound any help please.

Do you have the coin notched out? Maybe the head phone jack has an adapter in it without the head phone in it. Does the screen show the dark mark when you are over a target?

Did you test it with a coin on the ground? Have you air tested it by laying it down and passing coins under the coil?

Don't forget to turn the ACE on.!!

Flip your headphone switch to stereo. It won't work in mono. Volume control turned up? Make sure your phones are plugged in all the way.

If the detector is working minus sound without a headphone connected and the display is showing the targets it may be the headphone plug is bent inside the detector.Start by checking that the headphone jack is not sprung and reconnects the speaker when male plug is removed. If a plug went into the jack too far it will separate the connection that goes to the speaker then there is no sound output. If it is not repairable replace the plug if you have the tools to disassemble and re solder the connections. Check all phone jacks you used to see if one may be longer that it should have been.

We're all flying a bit blind at the moment to your situation, due to minimal information, but it's possible that if you are outside and have the coin on the ground, then you could have simply put it right on top of a large piece of iron eta, that is in the ground and you cannot see. It means that only the dominate target will be seen, in this case, the other bit of metal. try the other advise as well.
Good luck and if you still have the problem after trying what has been mentioned, could you include some more details of the conditions that it is accruing under.
